YOUTH MINISTRY

Our highly active Youth Program would love to welcome your Student into its community! This group of fun, loving Youth enjoys studying Scripture, going on trips, and spending time with one another.

Considering a visit? This group meets on Sunday mornings for Life Group at 9AM and on Wednesday Nights at 6:15PM. They sit with one another or their families for the Wednesday Night Meal then head to the gym for some free time before class.

What are the Youth Studying right now?

Sunday Mornings
"Studies in 1 John"
Need a reminder of who Jesus is? John has you covered.

Wednesday Nights
"Studies in James"
The All-Up-In-Your-Face Letter

On the first Sunday of every month, we have Bible Trivia Jeopardy!
Be warned - it isn't easy. Come prepared with all the Bible knowledge you can muster!
Studies in 1 John
Whenever someone comes to faith, I always recommend they read the Gospel of John since he worships God in every sentence. John explains to us who Jesus is without all of the details given in the other Gospels. He repeats himself to make sure the point comes across. John's three letters are no different, and 1 John is the most clear on that point. Let's learn who Jesus is together so that we can walk closer beside Him in the days to come.
Studies in James
James is the half-brother of Jesus and did not come to faith until after His resurrection. While he may have been late to the party, he brings messages that challenge even the most devout Christian. His book is one of the most straight-forward and practical found in Scripture - which makes it PERFECT for Youth to study. Join us on Wednesday Nights to see how you can be a more faithful Christian!

Previous Lesson Series

Gospel Training

When I, Micaiah Rogers, was a Youth, I was always scared to tell the Gospel to someone else. I didn't want to stand out, and I used the excuse that I was too young to be a missionary, even in my home town. Surely God doesn't expect me to share the Gospel right now! I couldn't have been further from the truth, and I wanted to equip the Youth not just by sharing the Gospel itself with them but also by giving them methods to explain the Gospel to their friends and families. This was not preparing them for work in ministry - this was preparing them to be obedient to God in everything, especially the Great Commission.

Devotions in Proverbs

Practical, hands-on learning and teaching from the Bible? Yes! That's a thing. The book of Proverbs is FULL of practical lessons for people of all ages. We read through a portion of Proverbs on Wednesday Nights to learn how to value and chase after wisdom in our daily lives.

Passion Week

Passion Week is the week leading up to Jesus's death, burial and resurrection. This is known as "Christ's Saving Work." If this had not happened, we would have no reason to hope that we could be saved from Hell. This is the motivation for all that Christians should do and be. This lesson series focused on what Jesus suffered for us during His final week on earth. It ended with the call to share the Gospel to everybody in the world. Will you take up that call? Or will you mock and ignore Jesus?

The Heart and Servanthood

Christians need to act a certain way. According to Galatians 5:22-23, our character needs to reflect the Fruits of the Spirit. This lesson series focused heavily on that subject: The Heart and Servanthood. Throughout it, we learned to do this:
     1. Rely on Jesus's Forgiveness and Grace
     2. Say no to your own wants and desires
     3. Serve the people around you
     4. Obey God and His word
     5. Prepare always for Jesus's Return
