YOUTH MINISTRY

 Our highly active Youth Program would love to welcome your student into its community! This group of fun, loving Youth enjoy studying Scripture, going on trips, and spending time with one another.

Considering a visit? This group meets on Sunday mornings for Life Group at 9AM and on Wednesday Nights at 6:30PM. They sit with one another or their families for the Wednesday Night Meal then head to the gym for some free time before class.

What are the Youth Studying right now?

Christians need to act a certain way. According to Galatians 5:22-23, our character needs to reflect the Fruits of the Spirit. Our current segment of lessons is focused heavily on that subject: The Heart and Servanthood. Bring your Student to our weekly meetings to learn how they can serve others and represent Christ correctly while doing it!

On the first Sunday of every month, we have Bible Trivia Jeopardy! Be warned - it isn't easy, so come prepared with all the Bible knowledge you can muster!

EVENTS

Escape Room "Davinci's Secret - Level 1"
September 27th @ 4-7:30PM

Escape Rooms are one of the most exhilarating and interactive activities our there! There is nothing like solving one of these and escaping before your time runs out, and now, Ararat is taking its Youth to Humboldt for their first experience. 

According to Epic Escape Rooms' website, this is the story behind this room:
"An amazing discovery has been made! A secret workshop belonging to none other than Leonardo da Vinci has been located. Why did he have a secret workshop? What was he trying to hide? It appears he has gone to great lengths to keep this secret from ever being found."

This was an incredible event and experience that we got to share with our Youth Group! Thank you to everyone who came out. Never a dull moment with this group!! We escaped with 2.5 minutes left and 47 points!! They were great at it.

Youth-A-Ween
October 6th @ 6PM

This Halloween-themed Youth Party is a signature event of Micaiah's, having done it since he began Youth Ministry. At the event, the Youth Room and Gym, along with any other used rooms, are transformed into a dins of spooky discovery. With much less normal light, and significantly more strange, ominous light, this is not something your Student will forget going to. 

This year, the games were Werewolves in the Camp, Vampires and Civilians, Snacking Devils, and Ghost Stories. Vampires and Civilians does require plenty of moving around, and Snacking Devils may involve food allergies. Please inform Micaiah if your Youth struggles with asthma, food allergies, or any other medical issue which may prevent their participation.

Every year at Youth-A-Ween, the Youth always study a Bible story which is... out of the ordinary, shall we say? This year, we studied King Saul's seance which summoned the prophet Samuel after his death. Because of Saul's sin, he was separated from God. We are all separated from God in our sin, and the only way back to Him is through Jesus Christ! 

Thank you everyone for coming! This year was absolutely incredible, and I look forward with great anticipation to next year!
