Ararat's 2024 Chili Cook Off
November 20th @ 5:30PM

Every year, there lies a challenge... Every year, there is only one victor... Will you be the one to make the best chili? Or will someone else bring the spice?

Pot-luck chili with people's choice winners - this is a fellowship which you do not want to miss.

Join us in worshipping our Lord's entrance into this world! We have plenty of volunteers this year, and if you would like to join the choir itself, practices are on Wednesday nights from now until December 4th. Don't wait! Otherwise, please come on December 8th to this God-glorifying program. There will be songs and narration to remind us of the story of our Savior, Jesus Christ. 

Christmas Program, "Back to the Manger"

Our Children's Christmas Program is now underway! Rachel Morris leads practices most Wednesday nights. If you want your child to have a choir part, contact our church at the number or email listed at the bottom of the page, or you can visit us on Wednesday night or Sunday mornings to talk with our Children's Director, Rachel Morris. 

Synopsis:
"During the annual Christmas Caroling Outreach at Midway Community Church, Jackson and his friends discover a time machine in the basement. After accidentally hitting a lever, they embark on an adventure throughout the {time} and learn how helping others changes lives. Seeing the caroling outreach effects over the decades, once-skeptical Jackson comes to know Christ better and discovers the true value of God’s gift and why we celebrate His birth." - SemsenMusic

Youthsmas!
December 15th @ 4-6PM

Our community of Youth LOVES Christmas. Who doesn't? At Youthsmas, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with devotion, food, games, gifts, and an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest! This year is going to be very fun, so bring your Student and invite their friends! Let's celebrate together!

The Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest will only be held if there are four or more Students/Counselors competing, and first place will win a $20 gift card to a restaurant of their choosing. You don't want to miss out on that, so wear a sweater!!

Happy Birthday Jesus Party!
December 18th @ 5:30PM

In place of our Wednesday Night activities, we will have a Birthday Party for Jesus, since He is the reason for the season! The children will read the Christmas Story and be given a chance to ask questions afterward. Bring your children to this event so that they can be told the Gospel directly!

Candlelight Service
December 22nd @ 5PM

Amidst all the excitement in the celebration of Jesus's birth, we have the somber and dark Candelight Service. This is a time to reflect on the character of God without distractions. Join us in this silent night of our God and remember all that He has done for you.
